Why superfood?

 

Superfood is defined as food that’s extremely rich in valuable ingredients for the human body. The content of vitamins, minerals or antioxidants in this type of products is usually several times higher than the traditional ones. Including Superfood in a daily menu strengthen our immunity, adds energy to the body, reduces the risk of heart diseases, diabetes, hypertension and supports functioning of our nervous system.

Only natural products that have not been processed in the production process and provide valuable health-promoting ingredients with proven action can qualify as Superfood. Usually, these are fruits and vegetables from different parts of the world, as well as some fish, fungi and algae. There is no specific list of Superfoods, different products has its unique characteristics, so it is best to combine them, adding to a daily menu where possible.
