A perfect addition to Asian cuisine, especially Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian. It can also be used as a substitute for cream or cow’s milk for “tapping – whitening” dishes of Polish cuisine. It can also be used as an excellent addition to sauces, soups and desserts. While canned coconut milk is available as a reduced-fat product and contains about half the fat of a regular product (coconut), its composition can affect the thickness of the product itself and of the food where it is used.
Unlike cow’s milk, coconut milk is lactose-free, so it can be used as a milk substitute for people with lactose intolerance. Coconut milk is also a popular choice with vegans and makes an excellent base for smoothies or milkshakes and can be used as an alternative to dairy when baking.
Store at 20-30 degrees Celsius. at temperatures below 20 degrees, coconut drink has a natural tendency to solidify.
After opening, keep in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days. The salt content is due to naturally occurring sodium.
