How is Diet-Food Bio Coconut Vinegar made?
Coconut vinegar is made during the natural fermentation of coconut water. During this process, the sugar in the coconut water is fermented by yeast, which then turns it into alcohol and finally vinegar.
What are the health benefits of consuming bio coconut vinegar?
Regulates blood sugar levels.
Like other types of vinegar, acetic acid is the key ingredient in coconut vinegar. The acetic acid in vinegar blocks the enzymes that help digest starch, resulting in a lower blood sugar response after starchy meals such as pasta or bread. However, if you have diabetes or pre-diabetes, consult your healthcare provider if you are considering using larger amounts than is usually found in cooking. Vinegar can interact with diabetes medications and should not be used by people with certain medical conditions.
