Bio Super Matcha Traditional 40 g
Matcha is 100% organic powdered green tea sourced from ecological farms in the Kyoto prefecture (Japan). This is traditional matcha from the third harvest (3rd harvest / culinary grade), characterized by an intensely green color, a bold flavor with a delicate hint of bitterness, and a high content of natural active compounds. It is perfect for daily consumption as well as an addition to smoothies, desserts, and baked goods.
Thanks to its naturally occurring components: caffeine, amino acids (L-theanine), vitamins, and minerals – matcha has a stimulating effect while also promoting relaxation and well-being. Matcha contains over 137 times more antioxidants than regular green tea.
What makes this powdered green tea so special that it is considered one of the most valued ingredients of a healthy diet and active lifestyle?
Matcha supports concentration and provides energy for many hours. Green tea naturally contains caffeine – matcha provides about 34 mg per serving, while traditional green tea contains on average about 30 mg, and espresso about 60 mg. The presence of L-theanine ensures that energy is released gradually, without a sudden crash. Matcha, like green tea, contains powerful antioxidants – including catechins, which have antioxidant properties and support the body’s natural protection. Catechins may also inhibit the growth of Fusobacterium nucleatum bacteria, responsible for tooth decay and gum disease.
Preparation method
How can I consume matcha? Pour 200 ml of water at 70–80°C over half a small teaspoon. Whisk vigorously until a foam forms. Matcha can also be added to cakes, baked goods, mixed with milk, or your favorite smoothie.
